Harlie John LeJeune
Funeral services for Mr. Harlie John LeJeune, 59, of Jennings will be held today, Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at 10 a.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clifton LeJeune Officiating.
Military honors will be held before the service. The family will honor Mr. LeJeune’s wishes to be cremated following the service.
Visitation for Mr. LeJeune began Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, from 3-9 p.m. and will resume today, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. LeJeune was a lifelong resident of Jennings. He was an operator on the tug boats. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling stories, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Bonin LeJeune; one daughter, Taylor (Glenn) Roe of Jennings; three sons, Brandon (Darlene) LeJeune of Evangeline, Zachary (summer) LeJeune of Jennings and Hoyt (Ashley) LeJeune of Hathaway; four special nieces and nephews, Jessica Broussard, Cody LeJeune, Joey LeJeune and Chris LeJeune; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. LeJeune was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Frozine Gary LeJeune; grandson, Nathan Blaine LeJeune; sister, Betty LeJeune; and two brothers, Clifford and Donald LeJeune.
