Helen Rita Bujol Hale

Helen was born in Estherwood on Aug. 3, 1924, and completed her life journey on Oct. 10, 2019, at the age of 95.

Helen was enrolled in the Baylor Willed Body Program and her participation helped further medical education and research.

She was an amazing and generous woman! Helen loved fresh flowers, cooking, garage sales, traveling and day trips to the casino. She was funny and kind and will be dearly missed!

Preceded in death were baby sister Evelyn Marie, brother Carrol (Chubby) Bujol, father Orrin J. (OJ) Bujol, mother Allie Guidry Bujol, brother Warren G. Bujol, sister Esther (Rose) Bujol and brother Donald (DO) Bujol. Sister Wilma (Mae) Hebert and Brother James Bujol also passed on since Helen departed.

Helen lost her husband, Edward F. (Bunny) Hale, on Dec. 7, 2010.

Helen’s service was held at Miquez Funeral Home in Jennings at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022.

Helen was laid to rest following the service at Calvary Cemetery in Jennings near her parents and sisters Rose and Marie.

You are gone but thank you for all the soft, sweet things you left behind.
