Jeanelle Marie Miller

A Mass of Christian burial for Jeanelle Marie Miller of Jennings will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings Monday, June 17, 2019, at 11 a.m., with Father Charles McMillin officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings today, Sunday, June 16, 2019, from 2:30-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral mass.

Jeanelle will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Jeanelle entered her earthly life on Aug. 23, 1945, in Crowley to Henry and Norma Sensat Latiola. She left this earthly life on June 13, 2019, at her home in Jennings.

Jeanelle liked to watch game shows and soaps. She loved her favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and basketball. Jeanelle also loved listening to Alan Jackson and she enjoyed eating and cooking. Most of all, she loved to listen to her grandchildren sing and spend time with her dog, Deuce. Jeanelle was a kind and loving woman who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who know and loved her.

Jeanelle is survived by her three children, Chris Miller, Kala M. Regan and Brandi Miller (Ross Welsh); her brother, Johnny Latiola; her two sisters, Neldarine Miller and Brenda Broussard; her three grandchildren, Bethany R. Touchet, Taylor Regan and Mark Regan; and her seven great-grandchildren, Sophia Touchet, Jackson Miller, Eli Touchet, Thomas Miller, Atlas Wilks, Kandalyn Cormier and Annie Semar.

Jeanelle now rejoices in heaven with her parents, Henry and Norma Latiola; her beloved husband, Lawrence Miller; her beloved son, Kirk Miller; her brother, Bobby Latiola; and her grandchild, Erica Regan.

Carrying Jeanelle final resting place will be Mark Regan, II, Ross Welsh, Daniel Handcock, Basha Semmes, Donnie Broussard and Donald Broussard.
