Karen Miller

Music lover and playful grammar nazi Karen Miller, 62, was called to join her late father, Jerry, in heaven on March 2, 2023, after a brief illness.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Miguez Funeral Home, located at 114 E. Shankland Ave. in Jennings.

A rosary will begin at noon, followed by a service at 2 p.m.

A repast will be hosted by her family at her home located at 16406 Hwy. 26 in Jennings.

Her sense of humor, dedication to her friends and fierce love for her children and grandchildren have left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone who knew her.

Preceded in death by her father, Jerry, Karen is survived by her loving husband, Nolan Miller; children Katherine and Matthew Miller; mother Leona Mayeux; siblings Nicholas Mayeux (Patricia Mayeux) and Tina Mayeux and cherished grandchildren Joseph and Sarah Ulicny, Alexander Slaydon and Morgan Miller.
