EUNICE ~ On Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, Kevin Dwayne Dietz finished his race, closed his eyes and opened them in his Heavenly home.
He was welcomed into Jesus’ arms and reunited with many loved ones gone before him.
A Celebration of Life was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at New Hope Fellowship in Eunice.

Kevin was a very hard worker and was a talented musician, playing the piano, bass and saxophone, and he loved to sing. For years, he was a worship leader at church, and loved using his talents for the Lord.
If he wasn’t working, he was at home baking … everyone loved his oatmeal cookies. He also loved to work with wood and build things, but most of all he loved spending time with family.
Kevin had a strong faith in Jesus and loved sharing that with others. He will always be remembered in the hearts of his family including his wife of 37 years, Karen Regina Wallace Dietz of Iota; children, Kortnie Bellon and husband, Brett of Iota and Kason Dietz and wife, Libby of Buffalo, N.Y.; his grandchildren who called him “Papa D”, Grant and Tucker Bellon, and Vallette, Evanlyn Joy and Elyas Dietz; mother, Shirley Dietz of Eunice; siblings, Monica Thompson of Eunice, Todd Dietz of Eunice, Scot Dietz of Crowley and Sharri Parks of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Dietz; and father-in-law, Clinton Wallace.
