Larry J. LeBlanc

JENNINGS — It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you that Larry J. LeBlanc passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 24, 2023.

Larry was born in Jennings on Sept. 8, 1949 to Dallas LeBlanc and Rella LeBlanc. After graduating from Midland High School, Larry went on to serve our country honorably in the United States Army. He then met and married the love of his life Nita Marie LeBlanc; they spent over 50 wonderful years together. He was a hardworking man with a great sense of humor. He loved working on the farm with his brother and hauling rice. Larry loved the outdoors, hunting with his brothers or just hanging out drinking a beer, eating a good meal and passing a good time with his family and friends. Larry and Nita never had kids of their own but they were the best aunt and uncle to all the kids they came into contact with throughout the years. Even though they never had kids, they loved each other dearly and Larry loved spending time with Nita, even if they were just watching a movie together. He was a devoted husband, great brother and beloved uncle and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his mother, Rella L. LeBlanc of Morse; his sister, Brenda LeBlanc Miller; his two brothers, Terry LeBlanc (Debbie), Jerry LeBlanc (Tina) all of Morse; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous extended family.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nita Marie LeBlanc and his father, Dallas LeBlanc.
