Larry Joseph Gary

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Joseph Gary, 72, of Jennings will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 3:30-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m., and continue Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Gary Cemetery.

Mr. Larry passed away peacefully in his home Thursday, March 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 19, 1950, to Amede and Onelia Gary, Sr., in Jennings. He was in the National Guard for six years and was a tool pusher for Nabors Drilling USA for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and playing cards. He loved to help at his friend’s store making sausage and most of all, he enjoyed life.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Anita Quebedeaux Gary; daughters Kathy Jo Gary of Hathaway and Jami Simoneaux of Jennings; brothers Terry (Becky) Gary of Hathaway, Amada (Barbara) Gary, Jr., of Jennings, Billy (Gladys) Gary of Hathaway; and three grandchildren, Lane Richard and Drew and Mina Simoneaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Gary, Sr.
