Mary Ann LeJeune Richard

Mrs. Mary Ann LeJeune Richard, 77, passed away at 6:31 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, in Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.

Her body will be cremated as requested by her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mrs. Richard was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a retired secretary in agriculture. She loved going to church, reading her Bible, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter, LaDonna Klumpp of Crowley; two sisters, Louise Istre of Jennings and Bonnie Deshotel of Evangeline; one brother, Curtis Deshotel of Hayes; and six grandchildren, Joey Klumpp, Harold Brent Richard, Jr., Andrew Klumpp, Luke Richard, Benjamin Klumpp and Abigail Klumpp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Richard; her biological father, Clifford LeJeune; her parents, Harry and Mary Lois Tupper Deshotel; one son, Harold Brent Richard; one sister, Barbara Nell Trahan; and one a brother, Kenneth Deshotel.
