Meriam G. LeBlanc
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton for Meriam G. LeBlanc, 99, who passed away on June 15, 2022.
Reverend Jose Vattakunnel, pastor, will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 9-10 a.m.
Burial will take place in St. Paul Mausoleum under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Meriam was a retired schoolteacher with the Lafayette Parish School System. She was a member of the Lafayette Parish retired Classroom Teachers Association, Louisiana Retired Teacher Association, Sacred Heart Catholic Community and the Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society.
Meriam, a resident of Lake Charles, was the daughter of the late Stephen Guillory and the former Edna Lange.
She is survived by her children, Ronald W. LeBlanc and wife Joann, Dennis S. LeBlanc and wife Sandra and Thomas R. LeBlanc and wife Gigi; sister Melba Chaplain; six grandchildren, Adam LeBlanc, Erik LeBlanc, Wil LeBlanc, Wesley LeBlanc, Colt LeBlanc and Nacole Eaton and onestep grandchild, Justin Romero; 10 great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her three sons and grandsons, Adam, Erik and Colt LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wil and Wesley LeBlanc.
