Patsy Ruth Sensat
Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ruth Sensat, 80, of Jennings will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings today, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 10 a.m., with Reverend Wayne Dartez officiating.
Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday, May 6, from 5-8 p.m. and will resume today, Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of her service.
Patsy will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery beside her beloved husband.
Patsy was born in Marshall, Texas, on Sept. 23, 1938, to the late Melvin Graham and the late Grace Presnell Graham.
She was called to her Heavenly Father on May 4, 2019. Patsy was a homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She enjoyed serving her community by volunteering as a Pink Lady at the Jennings American Legion Hospital and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church. She also worked at the Zigler Museum. Patsy was a kind and loving person and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patsy is survived by her son, Scott (Leesa) Sensat of Jennings; two daughters, Judy (Tim) West of Manitou Springs, Colo., and Deborah (James) Doucet of Sulphur; her three beautiful grandchildren, Michael Doucet, Michelle Doucet Herard and Melissa Doucet Goings ; and her four precious great grandchildren, David Herard, Macy Herard, Alayna Goings and Gabriel Goings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Grace Presnell Graham; her beloved husband, Dr. Bob Sensat; and her two sisters, Sue Rudder and Melba Jacobs.
