Thoresa ‘Casey’ Richert Klumpp

The family and friends of Thoresa “Casey” Klumpp are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Jan. 29, 2021, at the age of 79.

A Mass of Christian burial for Thoresa Klumpp will be held at Our Lady of Help of Christians Catholic Church today, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at 2 p.m., with Reverend Keith Pellerin officiating.

Visitation was held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, from 2:30-9 p.m. and will resume today, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, from 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral mass.

Thoresa will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.

Thoresa was born in Eunice to Easton Lanclos and Elvina Vidrine Lanclos on Aug. 11, 1941. She worked as a secretary for Gulf States Entergy for 35 years. Thoresa enjoyed sewing and working in her flowerbeds. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and Ladies Altar Society. Thoresa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Thoresa is survived by her son, Travis Charles Richert of Welsh; daughter, Shona Duhon (Theojune Mott) of Hathaway grandchildren, Shandala, Brock, Charles, Michael, Corey, Conner and Amber; 10 great-grandchildren;, and sister, Janice Hebert of Iota.

Thoresa was preceded in death by her parents, Easton and Elvina V. Lanclos; husbands, Charles H. Richert and Raymond Klumpp; and grandson, Stacy Duhon, Jr.

Carrying Thoresa to her final resting place will be Conner Richert, Brock Duhon, Charles Duhon, Tommy Richert, Craig Richert and Keith Duhon.
