Wanda Ellen Rinehart
It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Wanda Ellen Rinehart announces her passing from this life on Nov. 2, 2020, at the age of 93.
Funeral services will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings today, Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at 2 p.m., with Brother Paul Estes officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home today, Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Wanda was born in Westover, Texas, to Ovey Kibodeaux and Velma McClure Kibodeaux on July 20, 1927.
Wanda worked for the civil service for 20 years and was a homemaker who dedicated her life to the care of her family. Wanda liked to crochet, watch TV and listen to Cajun music.
She belonged to American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and IOOF Rebecca’s Club and the grand marshall for the 2010 Christmas Parade. Wanda’s greatest joys came from the time she was able to spend with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Wanda was survived by her daughter, Katherine A. Rinehart of Lake Arthur; her sister, Almina “Jerry” Landry of Jennings; her seven grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Ovey and Velma Kibodeaux; her husband, Denton Dodson Rinehart; her son, Michael Boyd Rinehart; her daughter, Velma Jean Rinehart; seven, brothers; and one sister.
