Mary Agnes Benoit

Funeral services for Miss Mary Agnes Benoit, 85, of Jennings was held Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Susil Fernando officiating.

Visitation was held in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. The procession to the church began at 1:30 p.m.

Burial followed in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Miss Benoit worked as a bookkeeper in the agriculture industry. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending her time with her family and neighbors.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Roy of Jennings; and three nephews, David Peeler of Jennings, Richard Roy of Jennings and Yancey Roy of Albany, N.Y..

Miss Benoit was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Elgie Duhon Benoit; and a sister, Virgie Peeler.
