Linda Jean Cox Miller
The family of Linda Jean Cox Miller are saddened to announce the passing of their loved one. Mrs. Miller passed away Jan. 28, 2021, at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake unexpectedly.
Visitation for Linda Miller, 70, of Bridge City Texas, will be held Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, from 2:30-8 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., with a prayer service immediately after. Cremation will follow the visitation and prayer service.
Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Thibodeaux to Taze Milton Cox and Georgia Can Cox FrenzeL
She worked as a secretary in the waste industry, but her favorite job was being a stay-at-home mom for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, visiting with her siblings and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. For the last three years, she lived with Aaron and Miller, and they formed a special bond.
Mrs. Miller leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, McNayland “Mac” Miller; two daughters, Tina (Dominic) Dugas of Lacassine and Tanya (Robert) Toups of Bridge City; son, Marcus “Mackey” Miller of Welsh; three sisters, Barbara (Bobby) St. Pierre of Larose; Sondra (Bob) Perry of Jennings; Myrna Lantia of Raceland; seven grandchildren, Cory Howard, William “Billy” Dugas, Georgia Dugas, Grade Dugas, Aaron Toups, Miller Toups, Chloe Miller and Payton Dugas and his fiancée, Khira Chavez, who both served honorably in the United States Marine Corps; and great-grandchildren, Craig “Bubba” Delgado, Jr., Ava Chavez and Brennan Reed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Jo Marie Vincent; and a brother, Ted Cox, Sr.
