Audrey Mae Miguez Fletcher

A Memorial visitation for Mrs. Audrey Mae Miguez Fletcher, 98, of Lake Arthur will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 1-4 p.m.

Mrs. Fletcher passed away peacefully at her home on March 20, 2021. She was born on Feb. 12, 1923, in New Iberia to parents Alfred and Lillian Broussard Miguez. Mrs. Fletcher worked as a telephone operator.

She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, but her husband, Howard Emery Fletcher, was the love of her life. They had 48 happy years together that they spent traveling and managed to visit all 50 states. She also enjoyed working in her yard and just gardening in general.

Those left to cherish her memory are three granddaughters, Rachel (Brian) Judice Boudreaux of Lafayette, Rhonda (Deon) Judice Landry of Baton Rouge and Stephenie Judice Franks of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Brett, Nicholas and Eric Massey, Emma Boudreaux, Abby Boudreaux, Jackson Landry and Emery Franks; and three great great-grandchildren, Carson, Amelia and Weston Massey.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband, Howard; a son, Ronald Michael Judice; a sister, Fabiola Miguez Landry; and a brother, Edward Miguez.
