Anna Mae LeBlanc Lopez
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Mae LeBlanc Lopez, 91, of Jennings will be held today, Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Father Keith Pellerin and Father Albert Borel officiating.
Visitation was held Monday, May 3, 2021, from noon until 9 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume today, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Lopez was born Dec. 2, 1929, and lived her entire life in the Jennings/Hathaway area. She was a graduate of Hathaway High School. After graduation, she worked for the insurance agencies of Charles Nelson, Billy Fontenot and Cassidy Insurance. She was also an accountant for Lopez & Sons Trucking Company and I-10 Texaco. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians choir. She loved working with green plants, flowers and feeding hummingbirds.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are three daughters, Judy Vaughn, Susan Lopez and, Carol Lopez; two sons, Darrell (Jennifer) Lopez and Michael (Kim) Lopez; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lopez; daughter, Jacquelyn LaBauve; her parents, Alexis and Amelia Gary LeBlanc; grandson, Billy Lopez; two sisters, Lazena Lopez and Ella Kratzer; and seven brothers, Frank, Pete, Jack, Walter, Wilbert, Issac and Izelle LeBlanc.
