Clifton Joseph Hollier

Funeral Services for Clifton Joseph Hollier, 64, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel, located at 819 N. State Street in Jennings. Reverend Craig will officiate. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral.

Burial will follow in Silverwood Cemetery.

Clifton passed away peacefully in Ringgold on June 23, 2021. Clifton was born in Crowley on Oct. 27, 1956, to Gloria Mae Oneal and Neg Charles.

After graduating from Crowley High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. Clifton was later employed by the Acadia Parish School Board and worked at Crowley Middle School as a custodian.

Clifton married the love of his life, Donna Marie Cretchen Hollier, in June of 1992.

Clifton leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 28 years, Mrs. Donna Marie Hollier of Ringgold; two sons, David Cretchen and Ronald Cretchen, both of Ringgold; one daughter, Crystal Brown of Lafayette; his mother, Mrs. Gloria Mae Oneal of Crowley; four brothers, Lionel Hollier, Terrell Hollier and James Oneal, Jr., all of Crowley, and Derrick Oneal of Fort Polk; one granddaughter, Amyah Cretchen; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Clifton was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Renee Hollier; brother, Hazley Hollier; father, Neg Charles; and stepfather, James Oneal.
