Eddie Comeaux

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eddie Comeaux, 93, of Jennings announces his passing from this life on Oct. 20, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, with Full Military Rites.

Eddie was born in Welsh to Damon Comeaux and Ella Broussard on Feb. 15, 1928. Eddie served the country honorably in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

His greatest joys in life came from spending time with his family. Eddie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are his son, Steven Comeaux of Gulfport, Miss.; his brother, Edward Comeaux (Lena) of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Stuart Comeaux of Houston, Texas, and Pierce Comeaux of Austin, Texas; his niece, Ruth Street of Jennings, and other relatives.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Damon and Ella Comeaux; his beloved wife, Viola Carry Comeaux; his son, Lanson Damon Comeaux; his brothers, Hilliard, Russell, Curtis and Edias; and his sister, Lillian.
