Calvin LeGros, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Calvin LeGros, Sr., 59, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, in Miguez Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Josh Belt officiating.

Funeral home visitation will begin Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Calvin was born in Jennings to Perry and Martha Martin LeGros. He was a lifelong resident of the Andrus Cove community.

He worked for K&K water company for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. But mostly, he loved being with his kids and grandkids.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Martha (Keyomi) Palfrey and Nicole (Shawn LaBauve) LeGros, both of Jennings; one son, Kevin LeGros of Lake Arthur; his sister, Romona (Ronald) Quebedeaux; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Calvin LeGros, Jr.; and two brothers, Jerry and Roland LeGros.

Pallbearers will be Rory Quebedeaux, Donald Sonnier, lll., Kayden Palfrey, Kevin LeGros, Sr., LeVaughan Moore and Dustin Touchet.

Honorary pallbearers are Kevin LeGros, Jr., Tyler LeGros, Keelan Palfrey, Stephen Roy, Kenndell LeGros, Keyomi “Five” Palfrey, Shawn LaBauve and Maurice “Mouch” Martin.
