Sandra Lynn Dupont Leleux
Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Lynn Dupont Leleux, 75, of Jennings were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Miguez Funeral Chapel, with Father Keith Pellerin officiating.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. with a rosary recited at 12:30 p.m.
Burial was held in Hanks Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leleux passed away April 7, 2022, at (You Know, Over There!)
She was born Jan. 15, 1947, in Jennings to Edward and Elaine Dupont. She lived in Jennings her entire life as a nurse/caregiver. She enjoyed cobalt blue, bingo and sitting outside on her swing with an ice-cold Dr. Pepper in one hand and a cigarette in the other, along with Reese’s peanut butter cups.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Nolan Leleux; her loving mother, Elaine “Lynn” Dupont; daughters, Terri (Ricky) LeBlanc of Lutcher, Kodi (Daniel) Kibodeaux of Lacassine and Crystal (Lynn) Duhon of Crowley; sons Dusty (Avia Hatfield) Young of Jennings and Burton (Charlotte) Leleux of Maxie; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and her special sister-in-law, Nora Malone.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward “EJ” “Snapper” Joseph Dupont and one brother, Christopher Dupont.
Carrying her to her final place of rest were Ridge Druilhet, Tré LeBlanc, Treyc’ Kibodeaux, Zeth Young, Kevin “Buddy” Bourque and Landon Bourque.
Honorary pallbearers were BJ Cormier, Brett Darbonne and Trevor Kibodeaux.
