Pauline Ann Moore

LAKE ARTHUR — A Mass of Christian burial for Pauline Ann Moore, 66, will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Visitation was held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Lake Arthur on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4-8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume today, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral Mass.

Pauline was born in Jennings on Dec. 4, 1955, to Lloyd Moore, Sr., and Grace Reed Moore. She was called to her Heavenly Father on April 15, 2022.

Pauline worked in a medical office, a job she loved doing. She was dedicated to the people she took care of. In her spare time, she loved to read and go shopping. Pauline was a kind and loving person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pauline is survived by her mother, Anna Grace Moore of Lake Arthur; her daughter, Tara Derouen of New Iberia; her seven grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren and her two brothers, Terry Moore (Connie) of Andrus Cove and David Moore of Andrus Cove.

Pauline now rests in Heaven with her father, Lloyd Moore, Sr.; her brother, Lloyd “Joey” Moore, Jr. and her grandparents, Dallas and Melanie Moore. To extend online condolences, please visit www.mat
