Barbara Ann Mallet

Barbara Ann Mallet, a longtime resident of Welsh, was called home by her heavenly Father on Monday, April 25, 2022, at the age of 75.

The family requests that a time of visitation be observed today, Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6-9 p.m., with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 a.m. at J.E. Hixson and Sons Funeral Home in Welsh. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m.

Deacon Wayne Chapman will preside over the services.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, graveside services will be held privately by the family at a later date.

Those left to cherish Barbara’s beautiful memory are her children, Tresa Hornsby and her spouse, Lisa, and Mitchel Hornsby and his spouse, Heather; her grandchildren, Emma and Carson Hornsby; her brother, Barry Mallet; her nephew and godchild, Wesley Mallet and her friend and neighbor, Sandy.

She was reunited in heaven with her father and mother, Arthur Mallet and Aline Landry Mallet.
