Patsy Ruth Ragget

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patsy Ruth Ragget, 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, located at 920 S. Broadway St. in Jennings, with Father Jude Fernando officiating.

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.

Patsy passed away at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Lake Charles on June 12, 2022.

She was a native and resident of Jennings and had lived most of her adult life in Beaumont, Texas. She united in holy matrimony with Paul Ragget and worked many years as a custodian at Taylor Career and Technology Center with the Beaumont Independent School District.

Patsy leaves to cherish her memories two nieces, Susan Peterson (Marcus) of Jennings and Deidre Isom (Kent) of Houston, Texas, and two nephews, David Handy (Lucinda) of Houston and Jearld Handy.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Scott and Myrtle Simon Scott, her husband, Paul Ragget and her sister, Ida Mae Simon.
