Ian Phillip Arceneaux
Celebration of Life services for Ian Phillip Arceneaux, 30, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, in the church chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, located at 819 N. State St. in Jennings, with Father Jude Fernando officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the chapel.
Cremation will follow under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.
Ian passed away at his residence Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Ian was born In Jennings on May 5, 1992, to Phillip and Lelia Nixon Arceneaux.
He accepted Christ at an early age and entered the waters of baptism at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Ian was a 2010 graduate of Jennings High School, where he was a member of the band and played the saxophone.
Ian was employed previously at Peto’s Travel Center in Roanoke and was currently employed as a delivery driver with FedEx of Lake Charles.
Ian is survived by his son, Ian C. Arceneaux; his parents, Phillip and Lelia Arceneaux of Jennings; his brother, Kedrick J. Nixon, Sr.; his sister, Krista (Donavan) Arceneaux; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Laura Nixon; his nephews, Kedrick J. Nixon, Jr., of Lafayette and Dallas K. Thibodeaux of Spring, Texas; his godmother, Joyce Alexander and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert, Sr., and Dorothy Arceneaux, and his godparents, Joe Alexander, Sr. and Kelly Sue Christopher.
