Steven James Doucet, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Steven James Doucet, Sr., 70, of Jennings will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Doucet will begin Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until service time.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Doucet was born June 22, 1952, in Jennings to Alfred and Mabel Thibodeaux Doucet.
He worked as a driller in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cutting his grass, watching Westerns and attending car shows.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 52 years, Sheila Seaux Doucet; a daughter, Maggie (Randy) Touchet of Jennings; a son, Steven (Christina) Doucet, Jr., of Evangeline; sisters Mildred (Webb) Mott, Shirlene (Charles) Guidry and Lula (Daniel) Daigle, all of Roanoke, and four grandchildren, Kourtnee Doucet, Ashlyn Touchet, Meagan Touchet and Trevor Touchet.
Mr. Doucet was preceded in death by his parents; sister Judy Istre; brother Charles Doucet; godson LJ Seaux; mother-in-law Joyce Seaux and his dog, Harley.
Carrying Mr. Doucet to his final resting place will be pallbearers, Trevor Touchet, Randy Touchet, Steven Doucet, Jr., Lane Seaux, Mike Seaux and Jody Seaux.
