Vivian Elaine Broussard Louviere

Vivian Elaine Broussard Louviere, 80, passed away quietly at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, after a brief illness.

A Memorial Mass celebration will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023.

Vivian grew up in a large family in Jennings before living in Welsh, where she raised her family. She enjoyed her career at H&R Block after her children were grown and moved to Lafayette in recent years to be closer to family.

She will be missed by her family and friends. Vivian is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward Louviere; children Steven Louviere of Pensacola, Fla., Lisa Rios (Edgar) of Lafayette and Amy Dinnat (Dustin) of Lafayette; four grandsons, Seth Rios, Antonio Rios, Caleb Dinnat and Lucas Dinnat; one great-grandson, Ethan Rios; one brother, Russell Broussard, several brothers and sistersin- law, many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
