Gerald George Granger

Memorial services for Mr. Gerald George Granger, 82, of Jennings will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings.

The family is honoring his wishes of cremation.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m., with a rosary recited at 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Gerald was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Elton to Dewey and Azalie Manuel Granger.

He was a lifelong resident of Jennings. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf, taking care of his yard and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Evelyn “Nina” Granger; daughte, Angie (Jeff) Hicks of Jennings; son Garrett G. Granger of Jennings and one sister, Sheila (John) Chapman of Lake Arthur.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dewey “Buddy” and Jimmy Granger.
