Kelly Jo Suire, 59, passed away peacefully at home in Magnolia, Texas, on April 9, 2023.
A private service will be held in her honor with a celebration of life planned for a later date.
She was born in Jennings on Aug. 16, 1963, to parents J.C. Suire and Cynthia Hope Segar Suire.
Kelly attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University where she obtained an associate’s degree and worked in various human resources and administration roles for Way Engineering and the United Way. She spent almost 20 years with Exxon Mobil Corporation in Houston, Texas.
She was a kind and gentle soul who had a radiant smile, a mischievous sense of humor and a great compassion for others. Kelly was an artist who enjoyed oil painting and loved to read, write poetry, watch science fiction and spend time with her family.
Kelly is survived by her parents; sister Wendy Stackable and brother-in-law Mark Stackable; sister Nancy Lee and brother-in-law David Lee; her nephew, Noah Lee; her niece, Lily Stackable; her nephew, Ethan Stackable and her aunt, Sharon Valencia.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Exile Suire and Mamie LeJeune Suire, as well as her maternal grandparents, Elmer Buffington and Helen Reaud Segar Buffington.
