Angela “Angie” Lee Merchant

JENNINGS — Angela ‘’Angie” Lee Merchant, 42, passed away on May 4, 2023, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services for Ms. Merchant will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Belt officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, May 6, 2023, beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding with the 2 p.m. service.

Angie was born March 26, 1981, in Alabama to Amy Greek Manuel and Thomas Merchant. Angie grew up in Elton, Louisiana and attended Jennings High School. She then moved to Alabama to raise her two beautiful daughters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Laci Blake Hebert of Fla. and Mia Jade Hebert of Duson; mother and step-father Amy and Ricky Manuel of Jennings, father and step-mother Thomas and Helen Merchant of Ala.; sisters, Jessica (Bryce) Lejeune of Hathaway, Jessica Vidrine of Austin, Texas and Sara (Josh) Nugent of Hathaway; brothers, Riki (Natalie) Manuel of Sulphur, Dustin Vidrine of Lake Charles, and TJ Merchant of Ala.; her best friend JoLynne Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angie was preceded in death by her stepfather Johnny Vidrine, brother Preston Merchant, Uncle Aden Greek, Sr., maternal grandparents William “Bill” and Elizabeth “Betty” Greek.
