JENNINGS — The family of Aline Prather, 91, of Jennings announces her passing on Oct. 12, 2023.

Services for Ms. Aline will be held on Monday Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Platt officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue until the time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Aline was born on July 7, 1932, in Jennings to Lawrence Prather and Ophelia Istre Prather and lived in Jennings her entire life. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years for Advanced Business Supply in Jennings. Aline was a member of North Cutting Church of Christ in Jennings for many years. She was also a graduate of Jennings High School.

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Ethel Gunnels; sister-in-law, Janet Prather (James) Melanson and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vernice Prather and Altia St. Amant; brothers Harry Prather, Wallace Prather, Leverse Prather and John Prather.
