Jessie Breaux
Jessie Lee Breaux, 81 passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2024 to be with our lord and savior. He was born on April 11, 1943 in Crowley to Amelia and Eddie Breaux.
Jessie is survived by his daughters, Christiana Breaux, Kimberly Vickers and her husband Eddie Vickers, Jennifer Swayze; brothers, Henry Breaux and his wife Sherry, Eddie Breaux Jr. and his wife Susie; his sisters Betty Babineaux, Norma Perry, Mary Doucet and her husband Dale Doucet; 13 grandkids, Jonathan, Natalie, Nicole, John, Alisha, Damone, Joshua, Emily, Jacob, Sean, Kamryn, Angel and Ralphie; 28 great-grandkids.
He his preceded in death by his parents Amelia and Eddie Breaux; sisters, Anne Peacock, Emma Breaux.
Jessie was a proud veteran. He served in the Navy and the Army for six years. He loved driving his 18-wheeler truck for over 50 years. He was a hardworking man, a loving father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many. He loved everyone. Jessie never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. He will be deeply missed. Gone but never forgotten
Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. Jessie will be laid to rest at North Hanks Cemetery.
The family requested visiting hours Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations of any food tray would be appreciated for all to gather and celebrate the life of Jessie Breaux.
