Max Hungerford

GUEYDAN—Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Gueydan First United Methodist Church honoring the life of Maxie Paul Hungerford, 70, who died on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence.

He was laid to rest in Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend John Krause officiating the services.

He survived by his three sons, Ryan Hungerford of Sulphur, Aaron Hungerford and his wife, Paige of Rose Hill, and Jared Hungerford of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Karen Hungerford Theriot of Lafayette; one brother, Terry Hungerford of La Grange, Texas; and five grandchildren, Jace Hungerford, Kailyn Hungerford Brenna Lognion Tran, Cody Wunder and Bryce Wunder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Vernis Hungerford and the former Mildred Vincent; one sister, Dee Ann Hungerford; and his wife, Jacki Hungerford.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. until services.
