Gloria ‘Lena’ Roche Boudreaux

LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria “Lena” Roche Boudreaux, 78, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, in Miguez Funeral Home, with Rev. Roland Vaughan officiating.

Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of her service.

Mrs. Boudreaux passed away at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018, in her residence.

Mrs. Boudreaux was a native of Gueydan and a resident of Lake Arthur. She was a high school graduate. She loved to crochet, read and take care of foster children. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also enjoyed taking care of her dog Maggie.

Survivors include three daughters, Elmarie (Greg “Bubba” Guidry) Fontenot of Hayes, Susan (Toby) BeBee of Lacassine and Lisa Stubbs of Lake Charles; one son, Mitchell (Janie) Boudreaux of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mayo and Clara Mae Absshire; her husband, Ray Lee Boudreaux; daughters, Marilyn Boudeaux and Mary Miller; one sister, Una Guidry; two brothers, Ophey and John Roche; and two sons-in-law, Savan Fontenot and PyePye Miller.
