Freya Elara Miller

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Freya Elara Miller announces her passing from this life into the arms of Angels on July 25, 2018. Funeral services were held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at noon, with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.

Visitation was held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of her service at noon.

Burial followed in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Freya was born in Jennings to Katlin Nicole Champagne on May 23, 2018.

Freya is survived by her mother, Katlin Nicole Champagne of Lake Arthur; her grandfather, Jude Champagne of Iowa; her great aunts, Paula Broussard (John) and Tina Champagne, both of Lake Arthur; her great uncle, Jeffery (Sarah) Champagne of Lake Arthur; her Godparents, Chelsea Champagne (Shawn Benoit) of Lake Arthur, Gila Lege of Lake Arthur, Gustin Bonin of Jennings and Dennis Amie of Jennings; and her cousin, Eli Champagne of Lake Arthur.

Carrying Freya to her final resting place in Andrus Cove Cemetery were Gustin Bonin and Dennis Amie.

Honorary pallbearers were Shawn Benoit and Eli Champagne.
