Charles Sonnier

A memorial service for Charles Sonnier, 66, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, in David J. And Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, with Rev. Jackson officiating.

Burial will be at a later date announced by Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.

Mr. Sonnier entered into eternal rest in Lafayette on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018.

Mr. Sonnier was a native and life-long resident of Jennings.

He is survived by his children, Tyrone Darnell Sonnier of Arlington, Texas, and Erica Washington (Issac) of Euless, Texas; one brother, Eldon Sonnier Jr. of Jennings; sisters, Mary Zeno (James), Lula Noel (Freddie) and Rena Rosette, all of Port Arthur, Texas, Flora Keys of Alexandria, Lovy Broussard of Lawtell, Clara Guillory of Jennings, Gertrude Sonnier of Galveston, Texas, and Angela Lutz (Patrick) of Newton, N.C.; and one grandchild, Reign Xzavier Ferguson of Euless, Texas.
