LAFAYETTE - Funeral services for will be held on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Martin and Castille’s La Fleur de Lis Chapel, for Carlos Ray Kibodeaux, Jr., 54, who peacefully died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at his residence in Lafayette.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin and Castille’s Southside location on Thursday from 5-9 p.m., and on Friday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings, Louisiana.

Reverend Chris Fuselier, Pastor of Youngsville Baptist Church, will serve as Celebrant and will conduct the funeral services. Musical selections will be, “Victory in Jesus” and “What Day That Will Be”. Eulogies will be given by Mike Breaux and Steve Sifton.

Survivors include his best friend, companion and beloved wife, Lisa Courtright Kibodeaux of Lafayette; stepdaughter, Amanda Lynn Reed; two sons, Tyler Ray Kibodeaux (Dasia LeBouef), and Nicholas Paul Kibodeaux (Neva Chattos); stepson, Corey James Reed; mother, Bertha Kibodeaux; father and stepmother, Carlos and Dwanne Kibodeaux; sisters, Jackie Kibodeaux White (Toby), and Stacie Kibodeaux Williams (Scott); brother, Steven Paul Kibodeaux (Stephanie); and granddaughter, Emerson Grace Kibodeaux.

Carlos was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lucien and Ozete Kibodeaux; and his maternal grandparents, John and Marjorie LeJeune.

Born in Jennings and a resident of Lafayette, Carlos was a man for the open roads, riding his pride and joy Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed playing golf, PS3 games, watching football games, loved to sing with family and friends and yes, talking on the phone. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all. Carlos will always be loved by his family and his presence will be truly missed.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Breaux, Steve Sifton, Steven Kibodeaux, Nicholas Kibodeaux, Tyler Kibodeaux, Terry Montgomery and John Bishop.
