Donald Ray Neal

Donald Ray Neal, 45, of Jennings passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019.

Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Welsh and resumed Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at 10 a.m.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Pat Deshotel officiating. Burial followed the service. Donald was born Aug. 22, 1973, to Edward and Linda C. Neal in Crowley. He loved spending time with his family members, traveling, superheroes, going out to eat and celebrating the holidays. Donald was a joyful soul who never met a stranger and of whom no one ever forgot.

Donald was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents; sisters, Dawn Kay Neal of Welsh, Krystal (David) Jackson of White Oak, Texas, and Candance (Kenneth) Comeaux of Moulton, Ala.; two nephews; three nieces; and one great-niece.
