Ave Suire

Funeral services for Miss Ave Suire, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., with a rosary recited at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Miss Suire died at 8:10 a.m. July 3, 2019, in Camelot Place in Crowley. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. She loved to cook and bake. Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime. Survivors include her sisters, Sylvia Taylor and Margaret Parsley, both of Jennings She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvan and Amanda Bouillion Suire; four sisters, Marie Doucet, Anna White, Anne Sheppard and Viola Suire; and two brothers, David S. Suire and Amos Suire. Pallbearers will be Gerald Doucet, Bobby White, Mitch White, Brance Baca-White, Logan Simar, Jim Zielbauer, Jody Parsley and Tony Crochet.
