The Jennings Garden Club recently recognized gardens of the month for August. The business garden of the month is located at the Jeff Davis Parish School Board. The residential garden of the month went to Doug and Melanie Hoffpauir at 511 East Third Street.
BATON ROUGE — The LSU AgCenter has been awarded a total of $50,000 a year for three years from Nutrien, a Canadian fertilizer company with operations in Geismar. The donation will help fund educational initiatives for students in Iberville and Ascension parishes.
