Library’s Summer Reading Program to kick off

Jeff Davis Parish Library will be hosting in-person events every week in June.

“The Summer Reading Program is back and it’s going to be better than ever,” said Library Director Clare Coleman.

Coleman said she is especially excited about the special performers they have lined up.

“We’re kicking off with Harvey Rabbit, a local favorite, but we also have new acts from farther away,” said Coleman. “We’ve partnered with the Strand Theatre to bring performers who need larger venues, such as Crescent City Circus from New Orleans who perform acrobatics and magic.”
