Delta Kappa Gamma Awards Local Teacher

Each year, the Jeff Davis Alpha Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society international gives a $50 stipend to a new teacher in Jeff Davis Parish. LHS students complete customer service credential

Twenty-eight Lacassine High School Family and Consumer Science students recently completed an industry-based credential for Customer Service. These students earned the credential through the National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation. The Customer Service and Sales Certification measures a student’s grasp of excellent customer service. The course develops problem-solving skills that help them meet customer needs, become valuable workplace teammates, and achieve career goals.
