The Jeff Davis Parish School Board has access to $4.7 million in federal relief funds that will be utilized to recover from the negative affects of the pandemic to schools and students.

This week Gov. John Bel Edwards signed HB 554 (Act 128) by Baton Rouge Rep. Larry Selders enacting the Juneteenth celebration into law and making it a permanent state holiday.
