Jeff Davis Arts Council, Zigler Art Museum host summer camp

Jeff Davis Arts Council (JDAC) and Zigler Art Museum (ZAM) are partnering to bring their annual Mini Art Camp to area youth this summer. Previously, the camp was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic — making this camp the first since 2019.

LSU Men’s Track and Field sweeps national awards

BATON ROUGE – The 2021 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released outdoor awards on Tuesday afternoon and the LSU track and field program had four winners. JuVaughn Harrison and Terrance Laird were named the national athletes of the year in their disciplines, while head coach Dennis Shaver and assistant coach Todd Lane were winners of coaching awards.
