Lady Tigers dominate East Beau, 70-33

LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers picked up right where they picked up from their championship run in 2021 by blowing out the East Beauregard Lady Trojans by a final of 70-33 at “Nookie” Moore Gymnasium Tuesday night. Lake Arthur placed three players in double figures, and nailed nine 3-balls in the lopsided win.

US to hold huge crude sale in Gulf

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The U.S. Interior Department on Wednesday will auction vast oil and gas reserves in the Gulf of Mexico estimated to hold up to 1.1 billion barrels of crude, the first such sale under President Joe Biden and a harbinger of the challenges he faces to reach climate goals that depend on deep cuts in fossil fuel emissions.
