WELSH — Defense was the name of the game here Tuesday night, as the Welsh Greyhounds hosted the Iowa Yellow Jackets to conclude spring workouts for both teams. The number one unit for the Greyhounds scored the only touchdown of the night, as senior halfback Kennon LeGros found the end zone on a two-yard plunge on the last play of Welsh’s first possession.

Daughters wear fancy hats and dresses to enjoy sweet treats and drinks with their mothers at a tea party held at Save the Children Head Start. On Tuesday, May 17, the Head Start cafeteria served the girls and their moms tea, fruit kabobs, cookies, cakes and BBQ burgers for an event held annually by the school.
