CLEANUP BEGINS AFTER TORNADOES HIT IN TEXAS AND FLORIDA

PERRYTON, Texas (AP) — Cleanup efforts continued Friday morning after severe storms spawned tornadoes that left at least four dead, three in Texas and one in Florida as another series of fierce storms carved its way through Southern states.

The Welsh commercial club met June 10, 1927 evening in the gymnasium of the high school in their regular June luncheon and business meeting. About 85 members and friends were present. During the luncheon, which was served by the Catholic Ladies Altar Society, the club was favored with musical selection by Misses Harriette Jane Orvia and Lillian Caroll, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. C.
