  Jeff Davis Parish elected a new sheriff Saturday and casted votes in other local and statewide races. Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office (SOS) has released official results this week for the Gubernatorial Election. Between early voting, absentee ballots and Election Day votes, over 7,000 parish residents cast their ballots, a small decline from the October General Election.
