Studies have shown that the rear middle seat is the safest in the vehicle if a 3-point seat belt is available.

Riding in a vehicle can be an exciting prospect for children. Such rides provide a chance to see the world outside of the house, and the speed with which scenery is flying by can be exhilarating for young minds.

Bernie Sanders has heart procedure, cancels campaign events

WASHINGTON (AP) — Bernie Sanders’ campaign said Wednesday that the Democratic presidential candidate had a heart procedure for a blocked artery and was canceling events and appearances “until further notice.”

The 78-year-old Sanders experienced chest discomfort during an event Tuesday and sought medical evaluation, according to a campaign statement. It said two stents were “successfully inserted” and that Sanders “is conversing and in good spirits.”

Restaurants cited for violating Louisiana seafood label law

BATON ROUGE (AP) — More than 150 Louisiana restaurants have been cited for not disclosing to customers they were selling imported rather than domestic seafood.

The citations from the Louisiana Department of Health stem from a new law requiring food establishments to post information about imported crawfish or shrimp on menus. If they don’t use menus, they have to post signs at their main entrances.
