JENNINGS — Cheryl Randolph Davis, 66, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2023. Cheryl was born in Lafayette, LA on May 31, 1957, and was the daughter of Joseph Randolph, Sr., and Grace Dugas Randolph. Cheryl worked as a Cook for Jeff Davis School Board at Lake Arthur High School. She was a faithful parishioner of Union Baptist. She loved to cook and bake, as well as shop. During the holidays, she was always involved in baking for holiday events. Cheryl’s family was her everything. She loved her children and grandchildren, and she loved to laugh and live life to the fullest. Above all, she was a kind, loving woman and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

ELTON — A memorial service was held honoring the life of Ernest Sickey, father, First Chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and prominent Indian-affairs advocate. It was held at Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles on Tuesday.

JENNINGS — The family and friends of Esther Mae Bourque Boone Clement are mourning the loss of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, greatgreat grandmother, sister, and friend, who was called from this life on June 14, 2023, at the age of 93.
