GUEYDAN—A Mass of Christian burial was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Andrew “Skip” Cormier, 90, who died Friday, April 13, 2018, at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2-9 p.m., with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.. Visitation continued on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., when the procession departed for the church.
